Voter conditions

The voter is every Algerian who has reached the age of eighteen (18) years old at the date of voting, who enjoys full civil and political rights, and whose status is not among the disqualification cases specified in the applicable legislation.

Update of the electoral lists

The electoral lists are permanent and are subject to an annual review during the last three months of each year. These lists can be updated under extraordinary presidential decree which contains a call to the electoral body for any elections and which specifies the opening and closing dates for the lists update .

Registration on the electoral lists

Each Algerian men and women residing in Dubai and the northern Emirates, registered with the services of the Consulate General in Dubai, may request their enrollment in the electoral list if they were not registered yet. Citizens should be aware that they can not enroll in more than one electoral list at the same time.

Delisting from the electoral lists

Voter's name remains on the lists of Dubai elections center, unless the concerned asks for a write-off, in the case of change of the place of residence, to inform the Consulate general services and apply for a delisting from the electoral list.

NB: will be automatically deleted from the lists, every citizen who submitted a request for a write-off certificate, a consular file transfer or a certificate of change of residence.
