CONSULAR REGISTRATION

The Consular Registration is an important step for every citizen regularly established abroad. It allows the applicant to :

• Take advantage of the consular protection and benefit from all the administrative services required either by the national laws or the regulations fixed by the country of residence

• Contribute to the census and the identification of the Algerian community living across the UAE

• Strengthen relations between the Algerian community itself  from one side and the relations between the Algerian community and the consular mission from the other.

The following documents must be provided:

• The application form correctly filled

• Copy of the Algerian passport and a copy of the evidence of legal residence in the U.A.E (presentation of the  original passport  is a must)

• Copy of the Emirates ID (both sides)

• The applicant’s original 12 birth certificate or a copy of applicant's birth certificate 12S.

• The applicant’s Father original birth certificate.

• Current employment evidence.

• Current enrolment evidence from University or place of study For students.

• Three recent Passport sized photographs.

• For the married applicants, the marriage certificate is also required as well as the above-mentioned documents of the spouse.

 

Validity and renewal of the registration card:

The registration card is valid for five (05) years and the following documents must be provided for its renewal:

• Previous registration card

• Copy of Algerian passport with evidence of legal residence in the U.A.E (presentation of the  original passport  is a must)

• Copy of the Emirates ID (both sides)

•  Two (2) recent passport-sized photographs

• Each document evidencing any change in professional and / or civil status
